In real estate sales and marketing I have handled almost every type of issue that can arise. My experience includes working with a multi-national company that included negotiating land and construction contracts in the US and Mexico and successfully negotiated trade terms between the Mexican Federal Government, Mexican State Officials and the State of Arizona that concluded in multiple construction projects. I also served as Executive VP of Marketing for a publically traded real estate development company that resulted in a major National expansion of the company and increased sales by 340% year over year.
In 1999 I decided to make a change in the direction of my career as my family expanded and decided to reduce the amount of travel necessary each year. At that point, in the capacity of a Real Estate Agent I joined RE/MAX in Broward County Florida where in less than 90 days I became one of the top 5 agents in the company out of 450 agents outpacing established agents with more than 20 years experience. Within 6 months I established myself as one of the Top 100 RE/MAX agents in the State of Florida. In 2002 I formed a corporation named Frank Verna, PA and proceeded to expand the services offered to include training other agents, speaking at regional and national real estate events, co-hosting a syndicated real estate radio show and building and expanding my team. I also moved my team from RE/MAX to Keller Williams where I felt the practices of the company best matched the direction Frank Verna, PA was moving. In less than 90 days my team and I were the number one agent in the office and the number 4 agent in the State of Florida and eventually retained the number 2 position.
Changing times in real estate…
At this same time I began to see changes in the marketplace coming and decided that is was time to move up and establish his my brand which became XL Team Realty in Sunrise, Florida. I realized after researching several franchise real estate brands that either geographical or ideological restrictions would not allow my team and I to serve my buyer, seller and investor clients with the best possible advantage to buy and sell real estate in Florida which led to the decision to start his my brand. The office quickly got up and running and established I established the brand in the local market. By the end of 2004, there were several suitors seeking to purchase XL Team Realty with its experienced high performing team of 45 agents and unique marketing message. XL Team Realty was sold in July 2004 but I retained my parent corporation of Frank Verna, PA.
Shortly thereafter I was offered and accepted a position as Managing Director for a Sotheby’s International Realty franchise affiliate in Orlando Florida where I managed offices in Melbourne, Winter Park and Lake Mary. My responsibilities included recruitment, retention and training of agents working in high end luxury homes. However I soon realized that my heart was still in working directly with home buyers and sellers. I decided to establish Frank Verna, PA Real Estate in Jupiter Florida where I reside with my family and operate the company.
